The Tribeca Film Center is the brainchild of Robert DeNiro and Jane Rosenthal, who sought to bring together and support the film community in New York City. Specifically, this amazing coworking space is designed for filmmakers, producers, designers and others essential to the movie industry. Located in the historic Tribeca neighborhood, it fosters collaboration and networking among film’s most inspiring and aspiring community members.
Here, the Tribeca Film Center provides one- and two-room offices for creatives to invent, explore and share ideas. Notably, each room is unique, encouraging members to flavor their space according to their individual tastes. The offices also feature high ceilings, exposed brick walls and tall windows that offer city views, as well as ample sunlight.
Meanwhile, the amenities here include a full-time receptionist, phone services, in-house IT support, a daily cleaning service, handyman services and a freight elevator. Furthermore, the executive support services are an additional perk that provide individualized, personal attention to members by taking care of miscellaneous tasks so that they can focus on their craft. These services include mail posting and delivery, printing services, a messenger service, and catering assistance.
While the offices and amenities are of the highest standard, they’re also well complemented by other features. For example, the luxurious atrium serves as a quiet coworking and mingling area, as well as the perfect place for receptions and meet-and-greets. Alternatively, the large conference room accommodates 20 people and is suitable for script readings, castings and production meetings. Lastly, the on-site screening room is a deluxe, state-of-the-art facility that features 72 soft seats, Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, a small stand and a podium.
Additionally, the Tribeca Film Center offers virtual memberships, providing a phone number and Center mailing address on top of the necessary executive services. Virtual members can also take advantage of the conference room and screening room, whether for showing their films, attending networking events, or joining the Center community for one of the many receptions and parties hosted throughout the year.
Finally, many exclusive, elegant dining options — as well as sophisticated cafes and bars — are in the neighborhood, including The Tribeca Grill, which provides white-glove delivery service. The Tribeca Film Center also has exclusive deals with the parking garage across the street, as well as The Greenwich Hotel, which is right next door.

375 Greenwich Street is open during regular business hours listed above. For any other requirements, make sure to contact the operator directly.
-
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Tribeca Film Center.
-
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
-
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Tribeca Film Center, who is more than happy to help out.
-
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.
