Airport needs to take down signs telling passengers to remove all sorts of items from their bag. Showed up to security with a lady screaming at everyone for not leaving everything in their bag when signs EVERYWHERE say to take xyz out. So stupid and such a waste of everyone’s time get yourselves together.

Arriving very early for my 14-hr layover from YVR, the airport is quiet and there's a lot of spaces to stretch your legs, to lie down for a quick nap or deep sleep. There are free tours catered to Korean Air passengers if you have enough time to spare. I enjoyed an afternoon tour to Incheon International Market. The tours vary depending on the day of the week. It is highly recommended that you reserve ahead because these tours are popular among Korean Air passengers. Back at the airport, the Korean Cultural Center is also worth a visit and have your photo taken wearing the Hanbok (한복). There is a dedicated sleeping area at the airport but there are other spaces to nap, just look for empty boarding gates 😊 Cafes and restaurants abound so dining experience at the airport is better than good. Special mention to The clean toilets, too 👍

Solid airport with good connections to Seoul and beyond. Unfortunately the security section is a massive let down. There is no fast track security and even when registered for smartpass it requires a re-registration in the app (which doesn’t work) to register the boarding pass. Airport staff asked passengers to leave the front of the smartpass queue and fully restart queuing if they encountered any issues.
