Work-focused members’ club The Malin has recently opened its doors to its fourth NYC location – and seventh nationwide – at 387 Park Ave. South in Manhattan.
The Malin NoMad was developed in partnership with TF Cornerstone, a NYC and D.C. real estate developer focused on elevated design and community. The new space offers a thoughtfully elevated experience to its members through its unique luxurious and flexible setting, distinct from the traditional corporate spaces that are common to the area.
The newly-opened Malin location has 18 dedicated desks, 10 private offices, 15 phone booths, four meeting rooms and a library, complemented by a kitchen available to all members, all spanning 19,000 square feet.
The Malin NoMad operates under an open-plan concept which accommodates professionals ranging from freelancers and digital nomads to remote and hybrid employees, as well as businesses, startups and entrepreneurs. The space offers standing desks, structured seating, and comfortable lounge areas to support both intense periods of work as well as relaxing breaks and collaborations.
Day passes at The Malin NoMad stand at $75 a day and include the use of all communal spaces and amenities. Dedicated desks come with 24/7 access and built-in power and lockable storage, while private offices vary in size and amenities and are, therefore, priced differently.
The Malin is known for its uniquely designed spaces in sought-after neighborhoods, characterized by luxury materials and amenities and welcoming spaces, as well as the community-based environment. The brand currently has three other spaces in NYC, specifically in Soho, Williamsburg and West Village, along with locations in Houston, Austin and Nashville. The constant expansion of The Malin’s portfolio comes as a response to the rising demand for flexible, out-of-the-box workspaces from remote and hybrid workers, as well as businesses and entrepreneurs.
The coworking industry has been on a constant upward trajectory in recent years, with a 7% increase in national inventory registered in Q3 of 2024 alone. In Manhattan, The Malin’s home base, there were 275 coworking spaces at the end of the third quarter, placing the market in third place nationwide.
