The Malin, a flex workspace operator known for its aesthetically pleasing and high-quality coworking spaces, is planning to expand its footprint with a new boutique space in Savannah, scheduled for opening in the winter of 2025. The operator partnered with Ann Street Lofts to occupy the entire 10,000-square-foot space, spanning two floors, which is set to be The Malin’s first single-use building.

Thirty dedicated workstations, seven private offices, twelve soundproof phone booths, a library and two kitchens will all be included in the Malin Savannah. Together with four conference rooms, the members of this space will also enjoy free printing, locally roasted coffee and the option to schedule private events — all indicative of the rising flight-to-quality trend in flexible office spaces.

Situated at 119 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., the flexible office space is conveniently located near several cultural centers, museums, and a number of dining and entertainment alternatives, all less than one mile away. The Grey, a James Beard Award-winning restaurant, is also nearby. Like its other locations, the new Malin site is situated in the city’s Historic District, one of the largest National Historic Landmark Districts in the United States, renowned for its 18th- and 19th-century building styles.

The Malin’s representatives said that “Given the city’s limited availability of upscale office spaces, The Malin Savannah will add a new dimension to the urban landscape, providing residents with a beautiful work-focused members club that upholds Savannah’s high aesthetic and Southern hospitality standards.”

The design-focused venue will expand The Malin’s portfolio of eight members-only boutique coworking spaces to New York City, Nashville, and Texas. The business also revealed plans for a 20,000 square-foot location in Manhattan, New York, in March. This summer, the 12,123-square-foot Malin East Austin is also set to open its doors. It will include 28 dedicated workstations, 10 private offices, and four meeting spaces.
