Premier Workspaces hosted an open house and ribbon-cutting event on May 15 in honor of the official launch of its Kearny Point location. With this event, coworking spaces at the famous Kearny shipyard — which has been converted into a cutting-edge workspace — entered a new chapter.

Hugo Neu renovated Kearny Point to encourage a vibrant and innovative work environment. The location is close to Jersey City’s West Side and less than five miles from Manhattan. It’s highlighted by the recently renovated Building 78 (78 John Miller Way, Kearny, NJ 07032), which provides loft-style, adaptable office spaces that draw a varied range of innovators and creators, including movie-makers, entrepreneurs in technology and craft culinary artisans.

A range of workspace alternatives catered to the requirements of enterprises, entrepreneurs and freelancers are offered by Premier Workspaces at Kearny Point. For example, the facility offers flexible hot-desking choices, dedicated desks in open spaces and ready-to-move-in private offices for one to five workers. Or, virtual office services and meeting spaces are offered for hourly or daily rental.

Building 78 offers a number of features, including an EV charging station, a fully furnished gym, complimentary, on-site parking and a dog-friendly policy. Plus, breathtaking views of Brooklyn and lower Manhattan from the rooftop terrace lounge deck feature well-known attractions, like the Statue of Liberty.

“Premier Workspaces at Kearny Point is strategically positioned to serve businesses in the region,” said Steve Nislick, CFO of Hugo Neu. “Our mission is to offer beautiful, accessible, and fairly priced office space that encourages collaboration and entrepreneurship.”

Several important guests accompanied the ribbon-cutting celebration, including Christian Bailey from the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce, Linda Kraus D’Isa of the Kearny Urban Enterprise Zone and Mayor Carol Jean Doyle of Kearny. Judy Tocatlian, General Manager of the Mt. Laurel facility and Rose Palma, Regional Manager of Premier Workspaces were also present, among others.

“We are thrilled to be part of the Kearny community,” Palma said. “Our goal is to provide a flexible and shared serviced office environment where professionals and businesses can thrive.”

Lugo added: “Our office space solutions are designed to accommodate the evolving needs of today’s professionals. We are committed to fostering a thriving community of entrepreneurs and innovators.”
