Striving to be one of the most desirable and creative flexible workspace providers of the decade, The Malin offers its members a thoughtfully elevated experience. Emphasizing comfort, connectivity and convenience, this quintessentially modern NYC coworking space is designed to support members of the neighboring community to work effectively and grow their businesses.

Coworking community members who couldn’t get enough of The Malin’s Soho flagship, which opened in November 2021 at 32 Mercer St., will be happy to learn that the design workspace experience will soon be available at two new locations in the city.

The Malin Williamsburg

One of the new outposts that The Malin is debuting is a Brooklyn location within The William Vale at 109 North 12th St. in Williamsburg.

Sitting on the border of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, The William Vale is a 23-story hotel and condo development. The Malin will occupy the entire ninth floor in the building for a total of 10,000 square feet. Exclusive member perks at The Malin Williamsburg include access to bright, airy hotel rooms; on-site programming; multiple dining options; and a rooftop.

The carefully designed workspace will feature mixed seating; dedicated desks; private offices; meeting rooms; phone booths; a library; a kitchen; and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer expansive, 360° views of both Manhattan and Brooklyn. Come for the comfort and stay for the focus in this intentionally designed quiet space on the ninth floor. Here, it will be easy to leave distractions at the door and forget that you’re in Brooklyn’s most vibrant neighborhood, surrounded by some of the city’s best bars and restaurants; shopping; and the East River waterfront.

The Malin West Village

The second new Malin coworking location to open its doors this year is a Manhattan office in the landmarked American Railway Supply Building at 134 Charles St. in the West Village. Located near Pier 46 and Hudson River Park, The Malin West Village also incorporates 10,000 square feet in a space designed to the historic residential aesthetics of the surrounding neighborhood.

Complete with a quiet, landscaped courtyard, this one-of-a-kind workspace tunes into the deep cultural roots and historic charm of the Village. Here, Malin members can walk to their hyperlocal neighborhood coworking space down cobblestone streets lined by landmarked brownstones; dine in some of Manhattan’s top restaurants; and tune into their best work in a mix of shared and private workspaces that are designed to remove any obstacles to productivity and focus.

Ciaran McGuigan, founder of The Malin, spoke to New York YIMBY about the brand’s commitment to offering flexible workers a better kind of work/life balance.

“We are committed to providing the city of New York with elevated neighborhood workspaces that are inspiring and distraction-free,” McGuigan said. “The addition of the Williamsburg and West Village locations will give more members the opportunity to work close to home, offering the same familiarity as their favorite neighborhood coffee shop.”
