Coworking Giant International Workplace Group (IWG) plans to establish a 13,000-square-foot Regus in Boca Raton, to solidify the company’s presence in Florida. This will be Boca Raton’s third Regus workspace, set to open in the third quarter of this year in the 6501 Park of Commerce building. The building was chosen due to its proximity to a lot of residential areas for hybrid working professionals, according to IWG founder Mark Dixon.

Dixon also said: “According to International Workplace Group research, only one in five workers are willing to commute more than 30 minutes a day, while 60% want a place to work within 15 minutes of their homes. As Boca Raton continues to grow and evolve, we’re excited to be able to meet the needs of both local consumers and the business community.”

IWG declared that it will open three more Regus stores in the third quarter in Maitland, Winter Garden, and Lakeland, outside of South Florida. Additionally, the group plans to launch a coworking space under its HQ brand at 29399 US Highway 19 N. in Clearwater.

Furthermore, IWG announced that it has launched three additional Regus locations: 13 Palafox Place in Pensacola, 2300 Marsh Point Road in Neptune Beach, and 1845 Town Center Blvd. in Orange Park. The following Florida spaces are part of the plans initiated by the Zug, a Switzerland company focused on reducing the commuting times for office workers who live in the suburbs.

“With so many people relocating to Florida, and specifically South Florida, it’s no surprise hybrid working solutions, including coworking spaces, are in high demand, as the hybrid work model allows companies to meet employees where they live and want to be,” declared Dixon.

With the new openings, IWG’s portfolio in the state of Florida will reach a total location count of 86, with Dixon saying that they “continuously assess potential new opportunities.”
