National workspace operator Workbox has named Robert Cartwright as its new executive vice president and chief operating officer. In this role, he will oversee the company’s national expansion, member experience and operational strategy.

Robert CartwrightCartwright brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate real estate, hospitality and workplace management to Workbox. He previously led real estate optimization as global head of hospitality real estate at Fidelity Investments and served as COO of CBRE’s coworking brand, Hana. Before that, he was senior vice president of global operations and member experience at WeWork and held senior leadership roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts in property management, brand operations and finance.

With degrees in real estate and economics from Cornell University and SUNY Oneonta, as well as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from the American Society for Quality, Cartwright is a recognized thought leader in the future of work, workplace experience and hospitality-driven strategies.

At Workbox, Cartwright will focus on strengthening operational capabilities, improving data collection and scaling the company’s flexible office space offerings.
