The Boutique Workplace Company has entered into a management agreement for 16 – 18 Middlesex Street in Aldgate, on the edge of the City of London. This new location, set to open in autumn, will mark the firm’s fourth addition in 2024, bringing their total number of locations to 40 as of May. Boutique Workplace is renowned for its distinctive fit-outs within characterful buildings across London, and this latest venture is in collaboration with Unite Students to offer affordable workspace solutions.

Unite Students’ development is a 24-story mixed-use building that includes 920 homes purpose-built for student living. These residences provide students with spaces to study, socialize, and relax, featuring an exhibition area, cinema room, study rooms, and stylish common areas. The new office space managed by Boutique Workplace will have a separate, dedicated entrance and span 10,300 square feet across the ground, first, second, and third floors.

The Boutique Workplace Company will offer occupiers a range of fully furnished private offices, breakout spaces, and meeting rooms, all benefitting from excellent natural light and high ceilings. Additional amenities will include phone booths, showers, bike racks, lockers, and a dog-friendly environment, ensuring a comprehensive and accommodating workspace.

As part of the Boutique Collection, 16 – 18 Middlesex Street will be designed to a high specification to complement the landlord’s development at the prominent corner of Middlesex Street and St. Botolph Street in Aldgate. Boutique Workplace is a leading provider in London, known for its unbranded, individual office spaces that cater to a diverse range of businesses and occupiers.

The company has recently expanded with openings at 24 Lime Street in the heart of the City of London, 9 George Square in Glasgow, and 32 Threadneedle Street in the City. The Lime Street location reflects the vibrancy of its surroundings, with bright colors that attract occupiers from the tech and creative sectors who seek something distinct from the typically corporate City market. This building, a former furniture warehouse, sits among iconic modern skyscrapers like the Walkie Talkie, highlighting its traditional architectural charm.

This strategic growth and partnership with Unite Students demonstrate The Boutique Workplace Company’s commitment to providing high-quality, flexible workspaces in prime locations, meeting the evolving demands of businesses and occupiers in London and beyond.
