Office Evolution, a coworking operator with a focus on providing flexible workspaces to modern professionals, expanding companies and entrepreneurs, has recently opened the doors to a second space St. Louis’ Creve Coeur. The offices located in Creve Coeur and Clayton are franchises belonging to a network of over 80 workspaces around U.S. Office Evolution serves about 300 firms out of its two St. Louis sites, many of which are operating in the legal, financial and medical sectors.

The coworking space, run by husband-and-wife duo Jon and Mary Jonz, is assisting local companies and independent contractors in reevaluating their physical presence and embracing the flexibility and connectivity of coworking.

Jon Jonz said that “For most businesses, their first or second largest expense is real estate,” Jon said. “We offer a flexible solution to work that supports the post-pandemic need to balance working from home and working in an office.”

A variety of flexible workspaces, including open desks, day offices and dedicated office rooms, are available at each Office Evolution site. The company’s goal is to accommodate each member’s unique demands, as some require an office every day, while others just require it sometimes. The majority of members are self-employed individuals, or “solopreneurs,” and the Jonzes and their group claim that they focus on working with businesses to position them for success.

“Oftentimes, that means reducing their space footprint and getting employees coworking or flex office plans closer to their homes,” said co-owner Mary Jonz. “We help teams get together and, at the same time, help individuals get some peace and quiet so they can get tasks done. For smaller businesses, it’s a professional place to operate with a built-in staff and meeting space for client interactions that’s not their home or a coffee shop.”

The new Creve Coeur space is comparable to the Clayton office, the first Office Evolution space in St. Louis. Both offer a range of services and amenities, such as high-speed internet, an on-site cafe, a full-service fitness center, printing, and more, spread among about 50 offices in 14,000 square feet.

Mary Jonz added that, as coworking providers, “Our approach to coworking is very different from our competitors in that we recognize a strong element of hospitality in how we support our members. We have introduced this in Clayton and look forward to taking service to the next level in Creve Coeur.”
