The decision to expand was in response to a noticeable boost in demand for flexible workspace solutions within the city.
The company renovated the ground and first floors of Arthur Place, effectively taking over the entire building and adding 15,066 square feet of workspace to its portfolio.
Situated opposite Glandore’s inaugural Belfast location (Arthur House), Arthur Place has undergone a significant transformation. As a result, this expansion not only maintains Glandore’s presence in Belfast, but also enhances the operator’s ability to cater to the diverse needs of businesses in the area.
Notably, the renovation of Arthur Place prioritized sustainability with a focus on water conservation, waste management, renewable energy and the use of eco-friendly materials. Furthermore, wellness initiatives and cycle-to-work plans have also been implemented, thereby reflecting Glandore’s commitment to fostering a healthy, friendly and environmentally conscious workplace. Additionally, great attention is given to diverse network events to facilitate connections and opportunities through its space.
Collectively, Arthur Place and Arthur House offer an exceptional level of flexibility by allowing companies to extend from a single desk to more than 200 desks. This possibility is complemented by customizable terms beginning at three months and moving upwards to ensure businesses have the freedom to adapt to changing circumstances.
Spanning five floors, Arthur Place now offers suites ranging from 440 to 768 square feet. The property also features large windows and open-plan layouts designed to maximize natural light and productivity. The redesign of the additional two floors was entrusted to Todd Architects — an esteemed architectural firm based in Belfast — while the building work was executed by Wheatcross Construction Ltd.
In addition to offering customizable workspace designs, Glandore developed on-site amenities at Arthur Place. These include a facilities team, 24/7 security, meeting rooms, a barista station, showers, a reception area and bike storage facilities. As such, this comprehensive suite is aimed at providing businesses with the flexibility and support they need to thrive in the new era of work.
